Wes Welker: "I feel like a heel"

Okay, he didn't really say that, but I couldn't resist.........what a disappointing end to a promising season.

Welker and his big yap provided bulletin board material for the Jets.

NEVER make fun of a team's coach.

Moron.... coaches don't play the game. I saw a crucial dropped 1st down catch by Branch, a snafu'd fake punt, an inability to get open by the WR's, an OL with pass protection problems, a dropped TD by Crumpler when it would have made it 7-0, blown secondary coverage after pulling with 7, and a slew of other issues. But poking fun at Rex The Hutt had nothing to do with the game that was played.

Is that why Belicheat held Welker out the first series?

    Enjoy your mock drafts, ladies.

Pats would never have beat the Steelers anyway.

    Ryan's_rocks,
BB held Wes Welker out of the first series because, as the team's leader, he felt it necessary to send a message that that type of behavior will not be tolerated.  In the meantime, the Jets are whining to the media, resorting to name calling and basically threatening a guy's career.  It's all good to the Jets and their fans, because, obviously, they are great at dishing it out, but not so great at taking it........

As for the game, the Patriots had an off day.  That's the only reason the Jets move on and the Pats go home.  But hey, in sports the better team doesn't always win.

I realize that beating the Pats is like winning the superbowl for the Jets, but have some integrity.  Come back when the Jets finally win something.

And you would argue this, how?  The Pats play arguably their WORST game of the season, and in the end, still had a shot to beat your **cough** superior Jets.  Your post is an absolute joke.

That's what I though until I watch the final game of the Pats season. I guess trash talk "DOES" mean something for certain players and teams like the Jets.

The Jets just  bully the Pats.

Don't forget the drive killing fake injuries, AZ.  Me thinks Rex has been reading BB's play book.  Pay back is indeed a b_____.

I don't understand the people who say this. It isn't true. The Jets even said they watched the trash talk from the Pats the night before the game and it fired them up even more. It seems like they think it has meaning. And they say it helped them win.

I've said before and I'll say it again. Bulletin board material has no bearing on a game's outcome. Scheme and preparedness do. Obviously the Jets had it this time. Remember that TB's window is still quite open for a few more SBs of his own. And the Jets haven't been to the promised land yet. This coming from a Giants fan. I refuse to be subjective.
