Wes Welker and Randy Moss

It is not about which one adds more or does one benefit from the other, it is about the D having to cover all areas of the field. I see to many posts on which one gains form the other, they both do. They are like run vs pass, if your team becomes one dimensional you are dead. Wes and Randy force def to have to cover the field. If the play short and tight, TB will burn them long to Randy, if they play long and hang back to cover the bomb, TB to Wes will eat them alive.

Add to this the screens to Kevin F and we are the Patriots.

Take away one threat and all threats are weakened. Wes/Randy are proof that the sum of the whole is greater than the number of the parts.

Again without typos (darn you spell check!)

Love Welker's picture on the Globe website front page.  Such a common man, running around with only two Bucs on him.

Re: Wes Welker and Randy Moss

Would love to have a 3rd receiver out there to further strain things.  That would be nice for LoMo, Faulk, et al.  We are starting to crack open defenses again, spreading them out and then doing them in.  More Chris Baker/Benjamin Watson would be nice also.
