When do the Ravens STOP crying about losing to the Patriots???

The Patriots have played the Ravens 5 time since both teams have been in the league...ALL 5 GAMES have been won by the Patriots !!!  All 5 games we paid off the refs before the game....had 5 downs instead of 4 to get a first down....had a construction crew build a stone wall around Brady...Hey Ray Lewis you and that little girl that runs up and down the sidelines having a temper tantrum should consider if you prepared better you would have played better and the entire country on national TV WOULDN'T HAVE TO LISTEN TO THE EXCUSES AND WEEPING !!!
Grow up both of you !!!! There are children ,,,younger in age, but infinately more  mature than you two morons watching a sport they love on TV...

This is a familiar experience for Pats fans. Every team the Pats ever beat thinks they were the better team. I'll take the rings and they can have the sour grapes.

    These guys are unbelievable.
The game did not turn on the two penalities. the cravens had numerous chances to stop the pats and/or score themselves and failed at both.
Unlike the 2006 AFC championship game in indy where one bad pass interference call against the pats with very little time left handed the dolts the winning td and a 4 point victory. The NFL later apologized in writing to ellis hobbs for the bad call but that didn't change the outcome. the dolts still went on to win their only SB. Did hobbs, BB, the fans or the organization whine about that? NO!
So ravens, harbaugh and fans watch and learn from a organization that has the class you so sadly lack.
Just man up and shut up!

The Refs did a good job out there, for both teams.

Did the refs make Crayton miss a pass that hit him in the numbers?  Anyways take away the Brady fumble for a touchdown and the Ravens werent even in this game.  We dominated time of possesion and our D made the plays it needed to.  You dont hear the Pats complaining about bad officials when they lose games, and I have seen some pretty terrible calls go against the Pats.  It all comes down to class and sportmanship, the Ravens defense despite all of their tallent are a bunch of children.

You people are completely deluded. About 90% of the national media who have commented on this agree that the Ravens got totally jobbed. Two of the Patriots three scoring drives would have been punts had these bogus calls not extended them, yet you talk about "if not for the fumble, we would  have killed them". Newsflash, the Ravens force turnovers and score ALL THE TIME. Nothing flukey that can be dismissed about it. What if the two bogus penalties extending drives hadn't been called and the Ravens didn't fumble the opening kickoff? Ravens would have killed the Patriots. That line of reasoning makes no sense.

Just be happy you got lucky and had an officiating crew hanging on Brady's johnson all game, stay huddled up in your little fantasy worlds and hope you don't see the Ravens again in the playoffs. You might actually need to figure out how to tackle Ray Rice if that happens.

Agreed.  Time of possession has been won decidedly by the Pats in all 4 games, even the loss.  And yep, take away the strip sack in the endzone and that's not really that close a game.

I get that the Ravens' fans are frustrated, but honestly Clayton dropped some BIG passes, right on the money.  So it goes.

If you haven't heard, both Brady and Belichick mentioned that the officiating crew threw the most flags the past two seasons and is on pace for the second most this season.

It was going to be called strictly.  One team adjusted.  One team didn't.

Re: When do the Ravens STOP crying about losing to the Patriots???

Jim, nice call. Funmonkey, all I see in your posts are "what if". You know what, that didn't happen. And actually, the call that went against the Ravens for hitting Brady in the head ALSO WENT AGAINST THE PATRIOTS for hitting Flacco in the head. Um, yea, why is nobody mentioning that? I personally think the Suggs call was valid. He dove for the QB's knees. It got called on Wilfork in a previous game - the refs do call against the Patriots.

Besides that, the Ravens had a number of opportunities to stop the Patriots AFTER these calls. They didn't do that. Secondly, why is nobody mentioning the idiot challenges that Harbough went after or the 15 yarder that he personally tacked on? The fact of the matter is - Baltimore lost. They need to look beyond the calls and figure out ways to improve. Move on. That's what other teams do instead of acting like children.

Oh, and on a side note - there is something wrong with Ray Lewis. It's not normal for a man just dressed out of the shower to be sweating so much he has to wipe down with a towel. Viagra? Steroids?

Re: When do the Ravens STOP crying about losing to the Patriots???

The rule reads the way the rule reads.  And the penalties were called correctly, even the one against Wright.  The Ravens need to complain to the NFL about the "rule" if they have a problem with it  instead of complaining about how the whole world is conspiring against them so they wont beat the Patriots (pathetic).  The rule is the same for everybody stop crying and make enough plays to win next time.  If you get lucky enough to do that I bet you wont hear us whineing about how somebody else lost the game for us.

[QUOTE]Here's the deal. When the Pats play the Colts, how many times do we get called for Pass Interferance or Defensive Holding.  It seems that is what keeps the Colts in the game and yet, one could argue has led to the revamped Secondary this year.  It points to a certain degree of latitude the ref's have. And with this preconceived bias for certain scenarios.  One thing I have learned in watching the Pats vs Colts is we will get bad calls against us and seemingly nothing is called against the Colts. Yet the difference is the Pats overcome the refs and the Colts and prevail more often than not.  The Ravens should learn from this instead on whining on for days. All that matters is what you do on the field, not the press.  Simply put the NFL is not going to change because a player is upset. The NFL only changes when revenue impact is concerned.

/Trying to play the refs for the next time they meet(playoffs).  This is what Pittsburgh did all thoise years we beat them.  Also, the Reavens might be counting there eggs before they hatch.  Because, they still have Pittsburgh and Indianapolis to worry about.   Me thinks they are losing focus and might also hurt them this week in there game.

So the coach brings film to the judges and then what? They turn the game over to the ravens for bad calls? Give me a break! The Chargers lost a game on clearly a ref's bad call and didn't go out to the media crying about it once.

Ravens - put on some pants and stop taking cheap shots when you are in the midst of losing. YOU and only you lost that game. Your receiver had a perfect pass that he DROPPED with 38 seconds left on the Patriots 10 yard line. Why don't you review THAT tape 1000 times and not do it again?

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: When do the Ravens STOP crying about losing to the Patriots??? : The Ravens made a play on D and got 7 points, the Pats made one and got 3.  Pats O outscored the Ravens O 24 to 14.  One drive for the Pats was extended, and we scored 7.  One drive for the crybabies was extended, when Wright sacked Flacco for a big loss, only to have the same roughing call go against him.  The failed Suggs cheap shot attempt came on a completed pass on second down - it did not extend a drive.  Even using your logic, if those drives were all eliminated and the D scores are taking off the board, the Pats STILL win 10-7.  Any way you shake it out, your team LOST and would have LOST despite the (correct) calls.  The media isn't highlighting the call for Flacco because the Patriots never whine like you little f*gs do.   Finally, sure you score, when you play the Browns, Chargers, and Chiefs.  You must be so proud of your girls. Wake us up when the actually accomplish something.  Until then, STFU.

    Yeah! And WHAT IF....?
Puhleeeze! Get over it. Brady did fumble...didn't matter. Ravens did commit the penalties, and lost.
If you have watched the replay of the call on Suggs as many times as I have, you now that he changed directions well after becoming disengaged from the blocker. He did not get carried into Brady by his momentum; he shot for Brady's lower leg - the epitome of the nature of that rule - that's why it was called.
Don't even talk to me about Brady lobbying for the call - the flag was already out (a fact that nobody, including the "90% of the national media" have bothered to mention). Not to mention the number of times in a game a player, including Ravens players, lobby for calls or non-calls. It happens every other play, for crying out loud...but Brady is whining when he does it? Give me a break.
I will agree, to a point, that the other call (hands to the face) may have been picky, but the Pats' Wright was also called for the same penalty with much less contact...another fact conveniently left out of your arguments and those of the "90% of the national media" (BTW, I think you could use a brush up on your math skills there).
Grow up, take the loss. You could have won if a dozen or more things went differently. They didn't; you lost; get over it.

The refs were simply enforcing NFL rules, which are very clear.  The Ravens are a stupid team that has to figure out that committing stupid penalties has consequences.  I don't worry about the Ravens ever beating the Patriots because the Ravens are stupid stupid stupid, and they will probably never change.

If you don't like the rules, try to get them changed.  In the meantime, the official are supposed to enforce them.  If you don't like the officials enforcing the rules, which rules do you agree they should enforce and when?  Every other play?  Every third play?  Only during the first and fourth quarters?  Only in the middle of the field?  Only against players with odd numbers?

    Hey, how about this thought...

If this game were between the Chiefs and Browns, would we EVER hear of this if the same thing happened in that game?  Of course not!  It is called an opportunity to vent some anger or whatever towards the Patriots.  Anyone see the article by Jarrett Bell in NFL Replay?  He doesn't mention AT ALL the Pats were called for the same infraction.  He focuses on the two calls against the Ravens.  Talk about bias!!
