Where is Rusty?

Or whatever he is calling himself today?

He tried to tell me I had no clue before the season started because I questioned the Pats free agent signings, questioned the oline depth and ws not impressed with the safeties.

6 games does not make a season, but it seems pretty clear how srong Rusty was.

He will come back with a new name, call me a troll, blame Brady and Goodell, and rave about Cannon, Thomas and McDonald. He will also make a Zsanchez comment. But he will offer nothing concrete on topic

will we ever see the post with Rusty saying " I was wrong"?

You won't find a guy on here more wrong about things than rusty and here's the kicker...you won't find a guy on here who runs around telling everyone else they're wrong more than rusty.

And as far as admitting when he is wrong - forget it - won't happen. I'm pretty sure he is a child.

I love it when he does his famous " the warnings were out" things. Classic case of taking a story - finding ten percent of it that fits your agend and then claiming the whole thing yours!! Like saying the Ravens and Steelers defense is getting old...yah think? News flash people get old..the sun is hot..tomorrow is Friday.

Rusty I find myself agreeing with most of what you say, that leaves me open for harassment and being called Rusty but so be it. I like Brady under center and running the football . What we don't agree on is the state of the defense, the secondary in particular .

Mccourty is killing us, he doesn't ever look back, sterling Moore gets beat every play and Chung seems to never be in position. Ras I must be a bust, the guy hardly plays

Dennard is good, and Arrington is decent but these other guys are killing us man.

    Just my humble opinion.

Does Brady kill us with 2 picks, 2 groundings, 1/6 in the red zone? Just curious.
Right now I am watching Alex Smith hand off to Gore, knowing he'll need that later in the game.

I wish Brady knew he needed that like he did in 2004.

Though he has been wrong innumerable times, he never admits it.

One example: He stated the jets videotaper was escorted out of the Razor by NFL security. INSISTED numerous times after being corrected. I linked to an artilce that clearly stated it was Pats' security. He sid nothing. That's what he does when he is wrong. Just moves on to be wrong somewhere else.

He only about a week ago stated Woody was better when used less. I posted facts that blew that out of the water. He said nothing. That's how he rolls.

Rusty they should be able to run all over the Jets. Ridley could go for 150. I wonder if they get Vereen involved this week since Boldens hurting?

the season is still relatively young and the pats have a favorable schedule with the exceptions of the texans and 49ers games....but they are both at the razor.....this will be a 10-6/11-5 team and everyone will hop back on the bandwagon.

Yeah and they should or could very well be peaking come playoff time. If so then watch out. You're right, there is plenty of time to get things right. Remember 2001 when they were 5-5 after losing to the Rams? They got better every week after that. It's better to peak late than early like they did in 2007.

I've offered the wager and none of the Ballwashers will take it.  They ain't going 10-6.  They probably aren't going 11-5, dude.

They'll beat Houston and SF if Brady isn't in a shotgun spread for 40+ passes. None of these Ballwashers take this bet and it's very telling to everyone here with a brain.

They can win out this year if they commit to a run, trust the "kids" and put an onus on the small things.
They can win out. I get the feeling that they are going on a long winning streak, like they do almost every year. The number one seed can't be ruled out either.

they are talented enough to win out, but im not confiedent that they will, im confident they will win the division going away, but they do have some tough games at the end of the season and the division games are always interesting.

    What is the site?

I just have a hard time putting more accountability on a D that keeps the opponent from putting up points all game long while our multi million dollar offense fidgets with its collective nuts all game, giving the opponent more and more of a sniff, putting MORE pressure on our D as  a result.

If you're going to be ultra picky with the D, please at least be honest about an offense that isn't fluid and completely blew many chances to score any kind of points in the second half JUST like the SB.

This is not a random coincidence, but a pattern. When the offense is very good in a 20-14 kind of a game, with a run game, clock management, field position, no turnovers, etc, and the D blows it, then I'll agree.

Until then, go to the source in an offensive era that Goodell has created.
If you want to criticize the offense I'll join you. A running game that withers against every good D it comes across and just cannot produce yards in the endgame drives of close ones is a problem. And an O-line that doesn't show up in a SB or allows sacks at the crucial endgame drive in all 3 losses this year is one too. And receivers dropping key passes is another.

Nobody has claimed Brady is perfection. But at the end of these debacles he is usually the only one doing ANYTHING good. CERTAINLY the D isn't.

I think they beat both the Niners and houston. Playing them at home will be a big advantage at that time of the year.

The D causing turnovers and taking out the run is not "doing anything good"?  So far this year, this is what they do.

That should be MORE than enough. The lone flaw is we haven't chosen to run the ball to protect Brady against good front 7s (Arizona, Balt and Seattle). The secret is to RUN THE BALL against the best Ds, but our pansy offense won't do it.  They can, but they chose not to. PANSY.

I don't consider my HOF QB taking a Safety, throwing an ill advised INT on 1st down or missing a wide open WR to ice a game as "good" either. They're all plays that were "bad" and if ONE if them didn't happen, they win the SB last year.

You'll never run away from that fact.
