Where is the Run Run Run Crowd Tonight?

Remember last week when they ran to the board all giddy, starting thread after thread and asking everyone to apologize and admit that the run was the true salvation?

Did they all miss the game?

We'll never no because they put it away when Blount didn't rush for 50 yards per carry the first few times he ran it. Should have worn them down.

i was on board for as much balence as possible. not necessarily 40 -20 run but a 35 25 pass run ratio...

I did think early on the blocking was subpar and Blount wasnt effective... We should've tried a little more running in the first half...

    overall just bad offensive execution

The pats should have run in this game. They just didnt use the right weapons or this game. I thought the edges were open all day. Unfortunately, we started Blount and rid him until late in the 3rd...too late. Ridley and Vereen should have started running from the opening. I never thought we could run inside in Denver with Kingston and their lbs.

After the last 2 games Blount had there was no way BB would sit him.

I agree though, there were no holes open inside and Blount can't test the edge.

Who'd have believed that the only rushing TD that the Pats would get would come from TB?  And not even a QB sneak.

The 3 of them were running around like 13 year olds on a double dose of Viagra.  winning has nothing to do with how many times you run.

    LMAO

Mind you, I'm not trying to force them to apologize or anything.

    That would be juvenile.

I agree, Vereen should have run the ball outside the tackles more.  But we didnt give the running game much of a chance.  not much else worked either. Denver was able to stop the run and pressure Brady.

Boys I had a bad feeling on the first drive 3 rd and 3 and they ran a fly route to Slater he never caught a deep ball all year. The play calling was backwards.

As bad as our defenses have been since the supor bowl run our offenses have been good enough to outscore/keep up with the opponent..if you look at the recent big game losses you have to admit the offense was subpar..today was a testament to that..not reason to panic we were down but not by enough to abandon the run game with Blount..a real head scratcher..5 carries for 6 yards..really..

We can nitpick gameplans all we want.

No turnovers. No real bad plays. New England just in't talented enough to get over that hump.

Even with Talib, Denver probably walks with the win given the contribution from Thomas that was missing last time.

Therein, and most people here really don't want to admit it, lies the difference.

New England just isn't as good as other teams. Coaching only gets you so far. Talent get's you Superbowls.

I know why Slater all of a sudden? Brady has a hard enough time throwing deep balls to his regular receivers..another head scratcher.. and the 3rd and 3 pass down the sideline. I think it was to Dobson..that same play down and distance has failed at least 3 times over the last month or two..assuming McDaniels is making all of the calls, I dont think he is good in game manager..

yep. and its time to get over that hump. Improvement. Second year for Dobson and KT will be huge same with Amendola (hopefully he stays healthy) and god forbid maybe we see Boyce! and NO SIGNIFICANT INJURIES! thatd be nice! at least not 6 of em

Did you see the part where Talib went out with an injury and the Broncos drives then went like this?

    TOUCHDOWN

    FIELD GOAL
