WHO WOULDA THUNK AT THIS POINT OUR N.O. PICK WOULD BE HIGHER THAN OUR OWN PICK

who had that on their radar?

time for a change next year in our coaches (non bb, ie off, def coord, and db) and draft scouting personnel and decision-makers.

it doesnt look like it can get any better.
we are at a make or break point of the season it looks like.

(and spikes looks gone for a while-injury)

at least oakland's helping us with their loss to denver.

There's still 8 games left and I strongly disagree when you say it doesnt look like it can get any better. The offense that started out at a record pace will get things figured out. The play of the defense was better, so that is encouraging. The Spikes and Chung injuries hurt the defense big time at the end of the game.

I don't think it should be a surprise to anyone.  N.O. is just as good as the Pats, it's not like anyone was expecting it to be Top 10 like our Raiders pick last year.

remember all the talk about how our roster was so loaded that only a few rookies could make the roster? what a sad joke that line of thinking is now proven to be. and that arrogance about our roster started at the top. thats why workout warriors like Markell Carter and Malcolm Williams. if bb and his homers actually thought for a second that we would need real and immediate contributions from our low round picks, the pats would have drafted some of the proven football players they passed on and who are now making contributions to their teams. we need a worrier as a GM, somebody who could have looked at each position and worried about the worst case scenerios and how to prepare for those. linebacker? not enough fast coverage guys in a pass happy new rules league. safety? merriweather is a loose cannon who might need to be cut loose, and sanders and chung are too slow to step in at free safety. instead of drafting football players with the best chance of contributing immediately, they drafted poor onfield performing triangle number guys with questionable football instincts. now we are paying the price, in a big and unnecessary way, while Brady's prime slips away and the championship culture further deteriorates. one or two rookie contributors, out of how many picks? then he traded not only pick 28, but also both a 3rd and 4th round pick for a future 2nd with Oakland. like we didnt need anybody who would have been available with those 3rd and 4th round picks. what a freakin disaster. oh well, drafts a crapshoot, no talent outside the second round, blah blah blah. we need a worrier! somebody who always sees the glass half empty and diligently scouts for all rounds accordingly.
