    I saw 1:57 on the clock.......and then they callled  for a reset back to the 2min warning......what was up with that......bad spot and then move the clock so the challenge can't be made..........hmmm..

    Someone else here noted that the play was over around 2:03, so clearly the refs put the time back on the clock.

    The time doesn't matter. Automatic review does not start until the first snap after the two-minute warning. 

    The 4th and 2 play was before the two-minute warning and the coaches challenge rules were in effect. To challenge a play, you need two things: A challenge and a timeout. The Pats did not have any timeouts left.
