Will Pats Target a Flying Elvis in 2010?

Who is leading the NFL in sacks? Ware? no. Allen? no. Peppers? no. Derrick Burgess? Lol. Nope. Elvis Dumervil, who has 15 sacks this year. 41 in four years. An undersized OLB in a 3-4 that is 25 AND an UFA this year.

Possible signing? Hope so. Josh, you steal from us? We steal from you.

At this point I hope we do sign him and cut AT who has under performed.

Ware is better than all of them and he cut a deal with the Cowboys. Burgess and Thomas could both be gone. How high is OLB on the draft wishlist.

Or McDaniels tags Dumervil - there's no way they let him go.

Good plan.  Keep overpaying free agents for a couple of years and then end up with either really old team or really young team and not very competitive.  Learn to draft properly and you always have fresh, vibrant talent without being over the cap every year.
