Here's a needed addition to listing "errors" by team in box scores; also list those the umpires make. Monday night's Angels - Sox game had at least two glaring "mistakes" before NESN stopped displaying the "Strikes and Balls Box" and the close calls on "Plays at Base." Granted an umpire's job is difficult (so is a fielder's), and we know MLB doesn't like to call attention to umpire miscues, and permits only a limited display. This is tongue-in-cheek, of course, but something needs to be done by MLB to improve the honesty of the game. It's hardly fair to the players to have their work soiled or to the fans to have their money confiscated (so to speak). C'mon baseball, fix the system.
