Any real reason why Carp is not being given a chance to start in LF?

Nava has been great but at this point he is slumping and I am just wondering. Why isn't Carp starting more over Nava? IMO Nava needs to be benched and let Carp get a shot aganist righties when they start. Anyone agree with this?

I concur--Carp should be in there everyday until he proves he can't do it. Nava can fight for playing time with Nap and Gomes can be the everyday pinchhitter. This is all in conjunction with WMB and Bogaerts being called up as soon as today to play SS and 3 B.
