    Balfour deal off with Orioles

Apparently, it's due to the medical exam. Do I see the Yankees in his future? A medical exam shouldn't stop them since they have all the medicine he'll need. Just sayin'.

    And he's a closer.

Balfour failed his physical.  But Bartolo Colon passed his physical with the Mets.   There is no way that Bartolo passed his physical.   LOL

The Sox signed Badenhop and Mujica --I suggest signing Balfour, before another AL East team does, to an incentive laden 1 year contact for $7 M. with a guarantee of no QO being made next year. Have the most solid Shut Down Pen in the majors with 3 potential closers---Ue, Balfour and Mujica. Breslow, Miller, Britton, Badenhop and Dempster, for long relief. I'm sure I'm leaving another solid arm out.

I think Rodney is looking for $10 M. It would be interesting to see how Fernando would do in a pressurepacked house like Fenway or the Stadium. I think Cleveland, Oakland, the White Sox perhaps the Mariners might suit him.

Oriole Stadium at Camden Yard may not be very forgiving either.
