    Bedard and the AL east

Did one for Jimenez. Thought Id do one for bedard as these are the two most likely pitchers to be seen in a sox uniform.

Do the blue jays no longer play in the East?

And it's great to know how Bernie and Tino did against him because that really matters now.

i've got a feeling you've put more time into this than theo inepstein; he normally just looks at the back of their baseball card.

And it's great to know how Bernie and Tino did against him because that really matters now.

Speaking of people with too much time on their hands, -The Baby- just spent wayyy to much time closely perusing the numbers in an attempt to find something to complain about.

Re: Bedard and the AL east

even if bedard pitches well tonight he is still a gamble due to his health record, but if the price is reasonable he is probably worth trading for.   if he appears to be unhealthy tonight, he is probably not going to get traded this season and will become a free agent in the late fall.

he may just stay healthy and take off for the last two months to something like a 5-2 record in about 10 starts which will look pretty good especially if he keeps the sox in the other games he starts.

wakefield has always been an up and down pitcher. he seems healthy this year, but his ability to keep his team in each game has always been a question and it as been in his last few starts.

miller has been sliding lately, but may come back around.  he needs to let it rip and stop nibbling on the corners in his next start to reaffirm the manager's faith.   he is really not a bullpen option due to his lack of control so if he gets bounced out of the rotation he almost has to head to the waiver wire or the minors if he were to clear waivers.

Re: Bedard and the AL east

Bedard would be better than any pitcher under 300 pounds on the yankees.
