I wish that the Yazzer clan would shut up, don't you Examiner? Ten different posters who like Bill Maher, war movies, use cryptic one-line insults, can't pen a paragraph, and never respond to the point. Why you enable them and attack Red Sox fans is strange indeed. Very inconsistent.
Pike I have no idea. I dont pay enough attention to any of them to care. Does it mean Im "enabling" them by not arguing ceaslessly with them like kim does? (wink, wink) I have better things to do with my time. Bill Maher is a godless socialist pig who said he wished all Christians would die screaming in pain from rectal cancer. Consider his theories and commentaries accordingly, and arguing with his supporters who are just as misguided is folly. But whats wrong with war movies? Gettysburg, Kelly's Heros, and Where Eagles Dare are among my favorites. And btw, you have often accused me of not being able to pen a paragraph, and of using one line insults no matter how long or completely I answer your questions. We give you answers, you reject or ignore them, accuse us of not responding, and simply ask the question again as if we never responded. After several rounds of that, we get sick of it, and thats where the one line insults come in.
If you like war movies, be sure to see Paths Of Glory (One of Kubrick's 1st great films, with Kirk Douglas, 1950s) & the Longest Day (About D-Day).
Quotes from the Longest Day (which has the famous scene of Red Buttons parachuting into a church amidst gunfire):
1) Prologue; Rommel walking on Normandy Beach
"Eventually, even with all our precautions, the Allies shall come; and when they do, it shall be The Longest Day; The Longest Day"
2) (German soldier on phone to General in Pill Box with binoculars looking out on ocean on Normandy Beach)
Ze Allies Are Here!
General: How Many?
Soldier: ALL OF ZEMM!!!!
3) Another Quote by German General later that day:
"I have this bottle of cognac in my office. I was saving it for a special occasion, but now's as good a time as any."
