    There were a dozen threads about the impact of the order of lineup in the last few years. If you read them and remember them then you will note that several of our most brilliant, well researched posters concluded that the order of the lineup is not that significant. Some quoted Bill James, the guru of MLB statistics,  as saying that drawing a lineup out of a hat randomly over the season at most will results in no more than three wins or losses per season.

    Here we have a thread started by someone claiming that reversing the #8 and #9 batters is important.  Give us a break or else just think for a minute before starting a BS thread.



    Pike, why do you have to comment on every thread rather than participate in them?
