So instead of paying him $13.625M per, you want to pay him $17.5M?

So were you implying that Pedey is not that good, but we should pay him more, or that he is much better than people think?

I didn't get that at all.  PEDs is a league issue.  It's not up to the RS to enforce the law, written or unwritten.  If ARod leaves over the plate, clip him.  If he slides dirty, clip him.  Like the announcers said, how does ARod differ from the rest of the PEDs users?  You gonna drill all of them?

True.  But why change the subject?  The fact is that Dempster is an overpaid loser

I get cranky when we lose.  I don't dwell on it, but this is a game we should have won (still could, I know).  And when I get cranky, I get very picky.

Depends on the situation.  If the SP gives up 5 in the 1st, sometimes you save the BP, keep the guy in, and hope for the best.  Dempster looks like he had already had it.

With all this controversy and bs the Yankees are going though and this clown Dempster wakes them up. What a jerk and a fifth rate pitcher. The bigger idiot was Farrell or leaving the clown in as long as he did to blow the game.

Boeggarts better be all he is cracked up to be because the press is going to crucify Cherrington for not making a deal for a hitter or bullpen help if this team does not make the playoffs.

Cano will get about twice as much, and he isn't close to twice as good.

Besides, if you were willing to pay him $70M/4, why wouldn't you pay him $108M/8?

It's not just about taking him out. Dempster starting against the Yankees in the first place is not a good situation. He never has and never will beat them.  The sad part is that we are paying him plenty and he is signed through next year. Big mistake.

Yeah, but there were no outs.  Dempster plunked ARod and that cost a run, and he couldn't hold a three run lead. He's a veteran. Manager should have had someone ready instead of waiting until it was too late. You are a pink hatter.
