Based on the starters, I predict our 4-game winning streak will end tonight. Hope I'm wrong, and Aceves can turn in 5+ innings with fewer than 3 runs.

Well, Aceves did turn in five innings with just three runs, and the Sox offense suprised me by driving Justin Masterson hard through the first couple of innings. A great -- and surprising -- win for the Sox.

As Remy kept saying the in the 1st inning, the Sox hitters were all going to the opposite field against Masterson.

Aceves is excruciating to watch, but he did get five scoreless innings before collapsing in the 6th, at which a remarkable bullpen took over.

In 13 of 14 games to date the Sox have committed no errors.  Victorino a standout in RF, Bradley showing brilliance in LF, Ellsbury great range in CF, and overall a very solid infield even without Iglesias at SS.  Salty has yet to throw any basestealers out, but he can't be hurting the staff too much when they have the best ERA in the AL.
