Hey Jete, how are you.  I have been late in reading your replies.  Good season for the Yanks so far, quite the opposite for the Sox.  But this is only April.

Ready for the bats to break out!  Let's do this!

p.s.  Hate it when they block me from NESN here in Oregon.  As though the Mariners are supposed to be our home team.  Ahhhhhhhhhh!  Gotta listen to two chuckle heads instead of Jerry & Don :(

Good to see Eck in the booth with Don tonight. I so hope the Sox jump out to an early and big lead tonight.   It's getting harder and harder to take part in these threads with so many folks spewing negative venom.  Chris House asked where everyone was last night.  As soon as the Sox lost the lead, the negative posters showed up en masse, as if on cue.  Why I respond to all those broken records is beyond me.

We're twenty-five games into the season and many have written our boys off.  I just don't get that thinking at all.  I'll be rooting our guys on until they are officially eliminated which I firmly continue to believe is not going to happen.

Let's hope Lackey's still pissed off!  He's been looking SOOOOOO much better since getting skipped.  That was just a good hit on a good pitch

Re: Game thread 4/30 Lackey vs. Fister

When is AGonz going to start diplaying his sweet opposite field power stroke over the monster.  A month has gone, and just 1 HR to show for.

Hope the bats will start showing some consistency for the rest of the season.  Poor showing so far.

Lowrie's batting is starting to come back to the pack, hopfully so will others from the opposite end.

Need this win today, and tomorrow.  Need to get better than 0.500 in this homestand, and put it behind for the rest of the season.

BP is very shaky - Oki, Jenks, even Bard occasionally.  Haven't seen Wheeler much after the bad start to the season.  Sox has the talent in BP and batting, they just haven't shown up yet so far.

    Go Sox !

Nah...for some of the games I didn't get on here before the start of the game and since we were winning those games....I didn't want to jinx things.....

....so I've been trying to check in  before the game starts....

Lackey pulls the string on a 3-2 pitch.  I love that.

With his miniscule batting avg and humongous baggage, Milton Bradley may be the league's Least Valuable Player.

Good recovery after the lead off hit to the speedy hit machine Ichiro.

Come on bats, need some runs...

Off to mow the lawn.  Will catch up later in the game.

    Good luck to Sox !

Nothing scientific....they seem to win when I make the mini-cinnamon rolls, so I ususally go with those to be safe.  Though they don't seem to mind chocolate cake, which is what I'm making tonight.
