maybe removing Cherrington should be the first move...............why isn't any of the acquisitions he picked up this year being put  under the microscope? They did that with BV and fired him.

May the wind be at your back my friend. BTW I remember 1965 and 66 wonder if the kids here have done any research? We will recover, but to some of us it matters not, we watch our Sox for the love of the game and our hometown team!

    Thank you, Promise.

And you are SO right!  :o)

I had a young 20-something Sox fan ask me Monday if I remembered a worse RS team.  I told him I remembered '63-'65 ... and then laughed.  He wondered why I laughed.  I said THAT is when the Sox became an addiction at worst or an affair of the heart at the best.  Then I told him of '67 ...

Sox, then, now, and always - under any and all turns of fate.

      :o)

Ahh, true.  But it didn't change my young heart's embrace of the Red Sox.  As many did here, I became a fan during some distressing times ... but those were the days I got completely enthalled as a Red Sox fan. It may well be the reason I am so staunchly supportive of every player.  I didn't become a fan because they were winning. I became a fan because they were the BOSTON Red Sox   ...  and when the winning came, it was just gravy.
