Keeping the season stats for the Sox simple--

Pedroia, in a slightly down year, will finish the season with the most games played, around 142. Ortiz played 90 games, Middlebrooks 75. AGon led the Sox in rbi's but left with about 2 months to go. Ellsbury missed over half the season but was lousy when he played. CC played like 20 games or was it 30?
The pitching was relatively healthy, but lousy--current ERA is 4.62.
As Nick Cafardo says, you cannot name a manager who could have led this team to a winning season, not with this decimated lineup and lousy pitching.
