Re: Kemp Trade Talk: Real, real with traction, or really ridiculous?

The clown not only wanted us to trade for Kemp, he wanted us to extend him.

    The siliness returns.

Kemp: 179 games in 2 years.

    Ellsbury 208 in 2 years.

Ellsbury 366 games since the clown's trade suggestion.

    Kemp: 340.

And this was one major reason he wanted "Jake" traded: missed time due to injury.

    LMAO!

Fact: since the clown's suggested joke of a trade for Kemp, Ellsbury has played more games.

Fact: Kemp signed the extension after the huge 2011 season, but there is no certainty he would have extended with the Sox after the 2010 season.

Fact: The silly clown is sillier than ever.

Just ignore him he will be banned in the morning the fact he is claiming he is happier today than after the Sox won the WS is super comical. He is a fraud. He thinks the JBJ is going to start and Raj Davis will be the 4th. When the Sox add a vetern starter and start JBJ in AAA what will be his reaction then, more hate and vile. He has stated he would like the team to get worse (multiple times across multiple seasons) just so he could see his favorite players on the team.

    In response to redsoxsally's comment:

2010 window for Kemp is closed. Now that Ellsbury has done the Red Sox a favor, time to find better value from within and on the cheap veteran FA contract front.

I'm laughing and elated at the folly of Ellsbury to the Yankees.

With Victornio, Bradley, Nava and Gomes and a market of cheap veteran one year value deals still providing great room service, a draft pick and being saved from 100 million plus for Ellsbury harkens names like Crawford. The Yankees just gave a wheelchair contract to a career .780's pretzel with 1 AS season in over 6 years in the majors as a late entry after college.

I couldn't have asked for anything more. Ellsbury getting roasted for years by the NY media and fans and the Boston media and fans and taking Pedroia and Red Sox doting fans to the reality woodshed. In fairness to Ellsbury, he has a lot of kin folk who are looking for financial support. Making 5 to 10 million a year doesn't go far for a player who is just about to reach early Loften end stage of career.

    What's that supposed to mean?

My prediction was Ellsbury was guaranteed gone to a team that would regret. This is the happiest day of Red Sox life since 2007. I couldn't have written a better ending for this prima donna.
You are sad Softy.
Gee. Most Sox fans happiest day since 2007 would be 10/30/13.  Of course that day is probably only special to fans of the team...

It will be interesting if wet T-shirt guy is more appealing now that Ellsbury is gone.

Moonie I haven't fallowed all of this...but I actually think Rajai Davis or other RHB CF in a platoon with Bradley is not the worst idea in the world.
