Since leaving Theo's plantation a few weeks ago, Cameron has 3 homers, 3 doubles and 8 RBI's on a Marlins team that reversed direction and is winning since Cameron came on board.

Great career, near the end, but Lowrie's career isn't worthy to shine Cameron's shoes.

Ellsbury last year Lowrie this year by all means of communications when it comes to hurt RS players on which softy has made comments.
We probably will see Lowrie having a great second half.

Sorry disagree, Cameron is one of the most overated players who ever played MLB.

Sorry, disagree, Lowrie is the most overrated players in professional sports history.

"Last half"? ?We're down to the last 1/3, and Lowrie has taken his annual sojourn. No one loves the DL more than Jed Lowrie.

Do any Yankee fans here have an update on the status of Soriano? Is he still on the DL? What a waste of money that is so far. Why wasn't the Yankee medical staff aware of his problems when he was signed over the winter?

excellent point phil, the yankees once again sign a big free agent that is injured and when he does play is not up to the salary they pay him.  Typical of yankee front office.

Theo's plantation? Really? What is the matter with you? I'm sure Cameron was enslaved, that's how he felt about his million dollars.

Contract year, didn't get enough playing time for a fair shot at another MLB contract. Wakefield and his 5 plus ERA sits higher on Theo's plantation.

Cameron with a hit and a walk in a Marlin win, tonight.

    Is Lowrie's bruised shoulder ready?

Despite your begrudging vitriol, Cameron has had a great MLB career that Ellsbury will not match. Hall had one career MLB year that Lowrie will not match.

It will be interesting to see if Ellsbury, Lowrie or Wakefield are first ballot HOF"ers, or if they all go in on the 2nd ballot.

Cam in FLA: .193 BA  .723 OPS .408 SLG
Yeah, the Marlins are really riding his coat-tails...

Even hurt, Lowrie's career BA is 10 points higher than CAM's.

[QUOTE]It's about OBP, not BA. Cameron in FL OBP is .324 Even hurt, Lowrie isn't playing and Cameron is. Lowrie gets "hurt" every month or two for his entire career. If he were colored, he'd have been run out of Boston for malingering.

You beat me to it Harness!  Take out the 2 HR game and his SLG % is actually under .300.  Yup, he's the reason the Marlins are playing better.  Cameron's solid career appears to be coming to an end just like Hall.  Don't believe we'll see either at the MLB level in 2012.
