In response to softlaw2's comment:
Ellsbury was hands down the player of the game
I'm glad ESPN didn't see it that way, at all. Not surprising you would falsely claim that.
Let's look at some facts, on the soon to be departing prima donna, Ellspuff:
He misplayed the route that caused 2 earned runs on the bloop ball to CF
He was thrown out at 3rd because he didn't break immediately with the ball hit the Pedroia's bat.
He had 2 RBI's.
That nets out to costing more runs than he produced. He was the worst player of the game, for those who played for the Red Sox today.
Bradley saved 2 runs on an oustanding catch on a knuckling liner hit right at him and over his head.
Bradley created at least 1 run by beating out the throw to 2nd, after drawing the tough AB walk to get on base. That started the scoring.
Bradley saved 1 run and produced at least one other. He was the ESPN and obvious player of the game. He is the spark for the Red Sox.
Ellsbury is a prima donna who only plays when he thinks it benefits his career. He is a loner with a sullen disposition.
Bradley is a winner who has changed the Red Sox brand. The Red Sox should know by now that Ellsbury should not be on the payroll after 2013, should have been traded long before now.
Worst post I've ever read!!!!!!
Misplayed the route ?????? What the he!! Is that supposed to mean ??
Thrown out at third ???? You didn't even watch the game !!!!!
You say look at the facts and then list your opinions !!!!!!
Not to mention the comment about Ellsbury being a sullen loner. Their is so many falsehoods in this post you get even touch his main point of so how a player who didn't get a hit was better than a player who got 3.
