    With like a 18-1 record or something absurd like that. The guy must have a terrible personality because he can clearly pitch better than the value the Yanks gave him!

    One acquisition that is never mentioned was signing Ramiro Mendoza for the 2004 season. He was terrible. He was labeled on the forum as "the embedded Yankee". He lost his stuff as if you were turning off a light in your home.

    As a Red Sox fan, I'm very glad Alfredo is on our team. He's been invaluable out of the bullpen and has reminded me very favorably of Bob Stanley.
