It may just be Edes' prediction, but it looks to be right.

There is really no need for JBJ right now. The only reason he was called up in September was because Ellsbury got hurt but just going to the playoffs will be a great learning experience for him.

Concisely summarized.  Doubront took himself off the roster on Sunday.  Bogaerts has been the UIF for over a month, so no need to change to McDonald now even though he is more versatile.  With Ellsbury and Victorino well rested and presumably healthy, no read need for Bradley, so Berry is a better bet because he can steal a base or two at a critical moment.

I argued earlier for 10 pitchers, but cannot disagree with the value of 11,which means 7 relievers, most of whom are unreliable.

Hopefully, MacD, Lava, JBJ, and Doubbie are all mentally prepared and physcially ready to get called into service at a minute's notice should someone go down.

Presume:  to think that (something) is true without knowing that it is true

Ellsbury has a broken bone in his foot. Nice to see that contract year has him forgetting about that broken foot.

Relax kid.....if Ellsbury break his foot again or happen to miss the remaining of the post season, Boston can just take him off of the roster and call up JBJ to replace him on the next game.

    So that is not hard.
