I really hope that the Red Sox and Yankees meet in the playoffs this year.  It's been ten years since they last met.  Long overdue.....

As we all know, 2003-2005 was the peak in the rivalry between these two teams.  My ex lived in Manhattan at the time so I would visit her and we would go to Yankee stadium to see a Red Sox vs. Yankees game (a scalper would charge me $500 for two "Field Champ" seats).  Wearing a Schilling jersey and taking the train to Yankee stadium was brutal,...............very brutal.    LOL   Laughing

After the end of the game, walking back to the train station was even worse.  LOL  Yell

How can anyone be in a slump during the offseason?

We have, perhaps, the deepest starting pitcher pool in MLB with a slew of young prospects on a quick rise.

We may not have the best #1, or the best #2, but our #3-8 (as a group) are top 5 at worst.
