Toughest Athlete in NE Sports---Carl Yastrzemski....played in as much pain as Grogan, cracked his ribs smashing into Monster, played through 2 full decades then four years into a third. Had various injuries that he shrugged off and kept playing no matter what. He was as tough as they come.
    Honorable Mentions to: Grogan, O'Reilly

I think the thread was for those who played through painful injuries. I'll go Rondo and Schilling for one or two games and Orr for doing it for a lot of his career.

Gotta give a shout out to John Hannah-only missed 5 of a possible 191 games as one of the best offensive linemen ever.

Harry Agannis. Great potential cut short by medical problems. He would have been both a great football and baseball player.
