Be careful what you ask for. The list might contain some Redsox heroes other than Manny and other dearly or not so dearly departed Sox players as well as current greats. Good thing Mitchell is a Sox fan, maybe he he looked the other way.

Does it really matter?? This whole steroid issue has been going on for years and nothing has been done yet. WHY?? Because MLB is doing a box office business. The management doesn't care that steroid laden athletes are breaking records because people tune in and play good money to watch these people. The only time MLB will do anything is if the fans start saying. "ENOUGH!!" Just look at the year that Roger Maris's and Babe Ruth's record was broken, it was smashed by two steroid filled athletes and people just kept coming to see them. ENOUGH is ENOUGH. Stop supporting these people.

After the strike, all that mattered was bringing the fans back. It was sick the whole mess... Sosa and McGuire bulging out of thier uniforms after skinny rookie years. Selig gawking and smiling. Fans not caring. Honest players getting cut or less money. Makes you appreciate Jim Rice even more today.

UMMM, There were a ton of steroids in the 70's. The Steelers were the first program to start getting hit by the accusations and Willie Stargell dies from Kidney Failure and was known as the chemist. This goes back a long time. There is no definite way to say anyone was legal anymore

Hey moonslav59, you are not a real
Red Sox fan. Do you have any proof that
Mitchell looked the other way? You´re
    mad because of Manny .

I never really thought of Steriods in the 1970's, but the fact is there have been more players hitting more homeruns the past 40 years than at anytime in baseball history by more players.

So in reality, you can question every record in one way or another. As I pointed out before, the Negro League's and Baseball being a white sport puts everything in question from Babe Ruths time as well. You think facing Judy Johnson and Sachtel Page 40 times a year would not have decreased his power?

As for the list it should not be released because it does not matter it answer nothing.

Players were tipped, who says they didnt use in 2002 2001, 1995 ect . . . . .unless you can answer that these 103 names mean nothing.

I say release all names, let everyone come clean, and let's begin the process of healing and moving forward. I'm even thinking of boycotting MLB (it should be easier living in the Dallas area with only the Rangers to read about in the dailies) until something more substantial comes out-END the SPECULATION! Any player can be wondered about (out loud) but nothing mattters unless the players come forward or MLB names them. Look, Pettite came out, and he's been able to move on and keep playing, and no one really mentions him anymore.

It's the guys who deny, lie, and try to hide that get hounded and pounded. Open up and be more transparent, honest.

I love baseball, but it makes it hard to support fake.
