    Cape cod camping tips

    I've lived in MA for 10+ years but I have never really been to Cape Cod.  I want to go camping (in a tent) - does anybody have any recommendations?  I'm not sure what to trust in my online searches .... I'm looking for something close to beaches and bike trails.  I would like to visit Provincetown but the camp grounds I found nearby did not allow camp fires.  Camp fires are a must for me!  If somebody could offer me some tips or suggestions on where to start that would be great!!  Even a recommendation for what towns to visit would be helpful.

    Try Nickerson State Park in Brewster.  The rail trail goes right through the campground.  Not sure about the camp fires at Nickerson, I think they do allow them but verify.  Many of the campgrounds on the cape do not allow camp fires due to the dry envirnonement and close proximity to neighbors.
