    I used to live near St Pete beach, too built up. Maderia is nice. Ft. Desoto is by far my favorite.

    I have been all over florida, just got back from Naples last week but this is not a discussion.

    SOUTH BEACH!!! Hands down.

    I live in Delray beach,Florida...We our located in southern Palm Beach County on the Atlantic side. GREat beach very clean and lots of bistros and gourmet shoppes. Excellent nightlife.

    Passe-grille Beach (South St Pete Beach),  its quieter than Clearwater, St Pete and the best spot for a romatic sunset

    Bahia Honda State Park on Bahia Honda Key is beautiful. Great beaches and sunsets!!! Great place to camp, fish and scuba dive. You have to pay to get in, but it is worth spending and day or two there.

    By far I vote for the gulf coast beaches near the Pensacola casinos. White sand, clean uncrowded beaches.

    Put me down for the Florida Panhandle Beaches. White sand, few crowds, reasonable hotels.

    Hollywood Beach, families love this destination for its safe, clean shores (Hollywood Beach has been designated a Blue Wave Clean Beach by the Clean Beaches Council). Its Hollywood Beach Broadwalk – a car-free brick promenade lined with shops, restaurants and hotels – runs along the palm-lined Atlantic beach and is perfect for biking, jogging, rollerblading, pushing strollers or riding tricycles. For swimming and sunbathing, head to Hollywood North Beach Park, where the amenities include concessions, a picnic area, fishing, volleyball and an observation tower. There are lots of other attractive stuffs.

    Btw I stay far from this place.

    There are many beautiful beaches in Florida but the beaches i like there the most are Cocoa beach,Destin,Clearwater.
