Why is it that those most opposed to inner City Weightlifting in Southie have never talked to their neighbors in public housing in Southie?  Isn't the major complaint that the owners never notified the people of the town?  Why then is it ok for people to try and force the gym out of town without consulting their neighbors down D st., the only real abutters of this proposal?  Sounds rather hypocritical to me.  Is it because poor people in Southie don't have the same rights as those who got ripped off for paying a half million for a condo?

Why is it that the most vocal opposition to the gym, who claim to be protecting the kids in public housing, have never stepped foot in the development and couldn't name a street that goes through it?  Why is it that the neighborhood emails continue to spread lies and rumors about the intentions of the gym?  Could the answer to all these questions be: Because the young people from Southie who live in these developments could really benefit from this new gym and the opportunities it brings for them?  Because city point phonies and yuppies who have said they wouldn't send their kids there don't want to see someting positive for the kids in the projects?

Most of the people opposed used to live in the projects!!!! What the heck do you know about anyone in Southie, particularly the people opposed to InnerCity. Why don't you ask the higher-ups at the BHA (that stands for Boston Housing Authority, in case you didn't know) ask them what residents did to get the D.St. development residents involved. You sound like Obama, trying to pit poor people against well-off people. Your trying to mislead poor people so you can open your stupid gym. It won't work.

Get rid of the projects. I am sick of supporting those leaches!!!
