What's going on lately...Last week I read there was a stabbling around maple sq and yesterday someone was shot.  Is there any police presence in this city anymore.

And don't forget the man who strangled his girlfriend Friday morning.  Police are outnumbered....and it's not going to get better with more apartments going in, never mind all the illegal rooming houses.

We have teens and hold our breath everytime they go out...Of course they're not out at midnight but still worries us just the same.

Wish there were a solution.  It's a few years later and we're still complaining about the same problems in this town.  Too many of us have decided to do absolutley nothing.  Too many have no desire to do anything.  Met a neighbor after church this morning who pretty much said after I mentioned the shootings, "It's hot summer. Bound to happen".  Shrugged his shoulder and we said bye.
