mermaidcover.jpgJust in time for long summer days at the beach, author Ammi-Joan Paquette will read from her newest book "The Tiptoe Guide to Tracking Mermaids" and share secrets about how to find these magical creatures. Look on the shore and in the water -- could a sand dollar be a mermaid surfboard, or a patch of reeds be a mermaid's bed? During her visit to The Blue Bunny, Ammi-Joan will give her expert advice on the best way to spot mermaids. The event includes mermaid crafts and treats as well as a reading and book signing. Saturday, June 9th, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. All ages. Free. The Blue Bunny: Books and Toys, 577 High Street, Dedham. www.bluebunnybooks.com
