MagnifyingBoy_Griffin_MaoLin.jpgNow that the sun is finally starting to make an appearance, today is a good day to get outside and enjoy some fresh air! One great place to get close to nature is at the New England Wildflower Society's Garden in the Woods. With a huge diversity of plant habitats, wetlands, and a variety of creatures (frogs and turtles abound!), you'll have no shortage of interesting things to observe and explore. Bring your magnifying glass, pick up a scavenger hunt sheet on your way in, and let the kids lead the way. The walking paths are big enough for strollers, though there is some hilly terrain and long stretches -- but with places to sit and rest, you'll have no problem staying energized. Daily, Tuesdays through Sundays and holiday Mondays, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. with last admissions at 4:30 p.m. $10 adults (18-64); $7 seniors (65+); $5 youths (3-17); children under 3 Free; members admitted free. 180 Hemenway Road, Framingham. www.newfs.org
