A child costs as much as a new Ferrari.
At least, that's what a government report released this week said. And that's before sending him off to college!
Back in 1960, the cost of raising a child was estimated at just over $25,000. Today, child-related expenses for a child from birth to age 17 will cost a middle-income family about $235,000.
The report blames housing for most of the cost. And today's childcare expenses factor in as well.
What do you think? Do you think your family will spend $235,000 on your child?
