Bookworm Wednesdays at Showcase Cinemas, various locations, Aug. 1 & 8

Need to give a boost to your child's summer reading goals? Bookworm Wednesdays is a fun program offered by Showcase Cinemas that encourages kids to read by offering rewards for completed books. Just download the book report form (don't worry, it's not a thesis paper, it's just a summary paragraph) and bring it with you for free admission to select movies such as Kung Fu Panda 2 and Alvin and the Chipmunks. Children under 6 and adults who accompany the young readers are admitted for free with no book report necessary. With just two Wednesdays left in the program, now's the time to get reading.
