Join a naturalist at the Thornton W. Burgess Museum this Thursday for a unique story hour. Held outside on the grounds of the museum in Sandwich Village, the event features a story by prolific author/naturalist Thornton Burgess, followed by a chance to "meet" one of the animals mentioned in the day's story. With over 150 books to Burgess's credit, that's a lot of possible critters to meet! No registration is required. Thursday, July 19, 10:30 a.m. For families with children ages 3 and up. Members, free; non-members, $2 per person. Thornton W. Burgess Museum, 4 Water Street, Sandwich. www.thorntonburgess.org
