PSTpuppylocks.jpgIn this adorable retelling of the classic fairy tale, the main character isn't a curious little girl, but a mischievous golden dog. This hilarious version, presented at thePuppet Showplace Theatre, recounts the story of an impish puppy who gets into all kinds of trouble at the bears' house -- and sometimes refuses to obey the puppeteer's instructions as they try to get her to act her part in the story. Can anyone get this cute and crazy canine under control? "Puppylocks and the Three Bears" is presented by Magical Moonshine Theatre, and performed with traditional Bohemian style marionettes on a tabletop stage. For ages 3 and up. Four days of performances begin Wednesday, July 11. $10. Puppet Showplace Theatre, 32 Station Street, Brookline, MA. www.puppetshowplace.org
