The Boy Scouts reaffirmed this week its decision to ban gay individuals from the organization.

According to this AP story, an 11-member special committee of top Scout leaders made the decision after a 2-year review.

According to the story, the organization cites "support from parents as a key reason" why the ban was upheld.

The above video shows former Boy Scout leader, Jennifer Tyrrell, a mom who was removed from her post as den master in April because she is a lesbian, delivering a petition to the Boy Scouts of America headquarters and voicing her frustration with the organization.

What do you think about the ban?
