Did you ever take your child to a museum and secretly wish you could play with all the cool stuff too? Now's your chance! For one night, Boston's Children Museum is opening its doors -- for adults only. You can crawl to the top of the three-story Climb, blow a giant bubble, visit Arthur the Aardvark's kitchen, and rediscover your most playful self, all without your kids in tow. Come play in the groundbreaking exhibits while enjoying beer and wine plus small eats for sale. Bring friends and meet new ones as you explore interactive exhibits, attempt to complete the famous 'Museum Game,' and create a masterpiece in the ArtStudio. For one night it'll be the Boston 'Grown-Ups' Museum -- and the visit will bring out your innate sense of fun! Wed., Aug. 22, 6-9 p.m. Ages 21+. $10 (plus cash bar). Boston Children's Museum, 308 Congress St., Boston. www.bostonchildrensmuseum.org
