'Free Friday Flicks' at the Hatch Shell, Boston, Aug. 10

This week's Free Friday Flicks at the Hatch Shell in Boston features a showing of "The Zookeeper." Pack up some beach chairs and a blanket, and bring along a picnic -- but arrive early to get a good spot, since the lawn fills up on a first-come, first-served basis. Children can burn off some pre-movie energy by playing on the nearby climbing playscape on the banks of the Charles River. The show starts when the sun sets (around 8:00 p.m.), so perhaps putting the kids in pajamas is a good idea, too. Friday, Aug. 3. All ages. Free.
