8-year-old boy took his mother's car: What would you do?

An 8-year-old boy from New York took his mother's car and went for a joy ride, the Associated Press reported.

The story says the boy is safe and no one was hurt (except for a sign, a fence, and a fire hydrant).

What would you do if your young child took the car for a drive? How would you react? How would you discipline your child?
