Aarrr, mate-ies, it's that time of year again, ‘tis true! In this wee celebration, we are bound to tell tales of roaring seas and crafty pirates. Friends ya be if care to take part in a wee activity, or dare to make your own pirate’s treasure! [Translation: stories, fun craft and pottery.] Join other buccaneers at Barefoot Books on Wednesday for a celebration of all things pirate.This pirate-themed event includes stories and fun craft and pottery projects. Costumes are welcome and pirate books and pottery is discounted for participants. Shiver me timbers! Wed., Sept. 19, 3 - 4 p.m. Ages 2 and up. Free.
