Passover and Easter events for the family

With Passover and Easter right around the corner, there's a lot of celebrating to do! Here are some Boston-area events and activities that are perfect for the holiday you observe:
PASSOVER EVENTS:
"A Passover Celebration," Barefoot Books, 89 Thoreau St., Concord. Sun., March 24, 3-4 p.m. Ages 2-8. $4. Learn about the history and traditions of Passover, then make a fun related craft. Optional (discounted) pottery painting of Kiddush cups and Seder plates. www.barefootbooks.com
"Passover Community Seder," Chai Center, 105 St. Paul St., Brookline. Mon., March 25, 7 - 9:30 p.m. Adults $55, children $45. A seder that has the family in mind! Celebrate our freedom from Egypt in a warm, family oriented environment. EASTER EGG HUNTS:
"21st Annual Spring Egg Hunt," DCR Pope John Paul II Park, 763 Gallivan Blvd, Dorchester. Sat., March 23, 11 a.m. Free. Over 10,000 eggs to find, and many special surprises. Immediately following the hunt, the Phillips family invites kids and parents to join them at the Candy House for photos and a meet and greet with the Easter bunny. www.mass.gov/dcr/events/pjp3-23.pdf
"Egg Scavenger Hunt," Roger Williams Park Zoo, Elmwood Ave., Providence, RI. Sat., March 24, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Follow the clues to different locations around the Zoo to claim your eggs. Several golden eggs (while they last) hidden around the zoo will win the finder an extra special prize. When your hunting is through, collect a goodie bag and enjoy the rest of the festive Spring activities. www.rwpzoo.org
"Roslindale Egg Hunt," Adams Park, Washington St. at Cummins Highway, Roslindale. Sat., March 30, 10 a.m. Free. Join the Bunny as tots ages 2-6 hunt for 5,000 treat-filled eggs, and families compete in a parent/child egg tosses and bunny hop races. There will be special prizes for the winning teams, arts and crafts, refreshments, and photo ops with the Bunny. www.roslindale.net

"Easter Egg Dash," Paragon Carousel, Nantasket. Sun., March 31, 12:30 p.m. Free. Colored eggs full of candy are scattered all around the lawn that rings the Paragon Carousel. How may can your basket hold? www.paragoncarousel.com

"Easter Storytime and Banana Hunt with Curious George," The Curious George Store, 1 JFK St., Cambridge. March 27, 10 a.m., 11 a.m. & noon. Free, but RSVP is required. Ages 2-6. "Bunny Bonanzoo!" Stone Zoo, 149 Pond St., Stoneham. Sat., March 30, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. With Zoo admission: Adults $14; ages 2-12, $10; seniors $12; under age 2, free. Children’s activities include holiday games, crafts and other fun surprises. Guests may take photos with their own camera for a suggested donation of $5.
