'Ghosts & Gravestones Haunted Tour,' Boston, beginning April 5
In the mood for a spring scare? Join the "Ghosts & Gravestones Frightseeing Trolley Tour, boarding near the Marriott Long Wharf Hotel on Atlantic Avenue in Boston, and explore the city's most chilling sites and haunted places. Spend time with the dead as your tour includes exclusive nighttime access into two Boston burying grounds. Walk amongst the dead in burying grounds nearly four hundred years old, hear stories of those whose mortal remains lie beneath your feet, and listen to tales of many of the sordid practices that went along with them. Walk atop Boston’s largest unmarked burying ground and hear tales of the tortures, punishments and executions that took place there. Venture to the site of the biggest grave-robbing scandal in New England’s history. And ask yourselves -- are you afraid of being buried alive? You may have toured the city before, but you've never seen Boston quite like this. Seasonal tours begin April 5.
