St. Patrick's Day events for the whole family

It's time to get your green on! In March, everybody's Irish -- so here are a few different ways you and the family can celebrate St. Patrick's Day:
St. Patrick's Week Activities, Children's Museum in Easton, 9 Sullivan Ave., Easton. Tues., March 12 - Sun., March 17. All ages. $7.50; under one and members, free. Each day will offer a mix of different activities such as Gaelic crafts, exploding rainbows, yummy Irish foods, music and a search for pots o’ gold. www.childrensmuseumineaston.org
St.Patrick's Day Weekend, Irish Cultural Centre, 200 New Boston Dr., Canton. Fri., March 15 - Sun., March 17. All ages. $15 per person. Music, dance, food and drink, Irish 5K, entertainment for all ages, Joshua Tree in concert, local Irish musicians and Irish dancers. Tickets sell out fast; advance purchase recommended. www.irishculture.org
The Greene-O'Leary School of Irish Dancing, JFK Library, Columbia Point, Boston. Sat. March 16, 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Ages 5 and up. Free, but reservations are required. Join the dancers of the Greene O'Leary School as they showcase traditional and contemporary styles of Irish Dance. www.jfklibrary.org
"St. Patrick’s Day Treasure Hunt with Curious George," The Curious George Store, 1 JKF St., Harvard Square, Cambridge. Sat., March 16, 3-4:30 p.m. Free. Find the gold at the end of the rainbow with St. Patty’s Day treasure hunt. Curious George will be there to meet all treasure seekers. www.thecuriousgeorgestore.com
Celtic Woman, Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre, 270 Tremont St., Boston. Sat., March 16, 3 p.m. & 8 p.m. Tickets start at $48.75. Singing sensation Celtic Woman perform traditional Irish tunes, timeless pop anthems and inspirational songs. www.citicenter.org
March 16. Patriot Place 4th annual Irish Festival, 1 Patriot Place, Foxboro. Sat., March 16, 11 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. All ages. Free. Live bands, Irish step dancers, family activities and more. www.patriot-place.com
St. Patrick's Day at Stone Zoo, 149 Pond St., Stoneham. Sun., March 17, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Adults, $14; ages 62+, $12; ages 2-12, $10; under 2 and members, free. The Zoo is celebrating with green-themed enrichment for the animals. Meet at each animals' exhibits: black bears, 11 a.m.; cougar, 1 p.m.; African crested porcupine, 3 p.m. www.zoonewengland.org
"St. Patrick's Celebration," Barefoot Books, 89 Thoreau St., Concord. March 17 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Ages 1.5 and up. Free. Celtic storytelling and a fun craft to usher in this Irish holiday. Wearing of the green encouraged! www.barefootbooks.com
