'Annual Music MAYnia Festival,' Winchester, May 5

Join hundreds of other community members in a celebration of music and spring! Presented by the Winchester Community Music School, the annual "Music MAYnia" is a free community music performathon and festival that features continuous live performances, arts and crafts, face painting, a traditional May Pole dance, drum circles, balloon animals, refreshments, and more. More than 175 performers of all ages and abilities perform a music marathon on three stages, ranging from classical to rock. Listen to bands, ensembles, and solo performances by students aged 5 to 100. The event takes place both indoors and outdoors, rain or shine. Sun., May 5, 1-5 p.m. Free. All ages. Winchester Community Music School, 407 Highland Ave., Winchester. www.winchestermusic.org
