AHL coaches try to mirror the parent club so players can easily transition into play. This is a good move.. the kid needs some time to develop and gain some confidence.

No way Seguin gets top line duties. Too many mistakes in the past few games. A year in the AHL would have been perfect for this kid, but he has shown some flashes. I don't expect to see Wheeler around more »

Expect to see Spooner and Colborne in Boston next year. Have a feeling that time in Providence will serve Joe well. more »

Seriously Fluto.. enough.. He's gone.. let him go.. His tenure here sucked.. Not too many Bruins out there that were actually booed when they touched the puck. more »

Two reasons why the crowd has been so quiet is 1) Game presentation is terrible. Why Bon Jovi after a score? Isn't he from NJ? Plus the song, “This is our house” is terrible. 2) Everyone leaves ea more »

Fluto.. Wideman is gone. Get over him. He was a liability in his own zone. He lost all confidence in himself and fans had every right to boo him, 4 million a year for that? more »

This is random but as I'm reading through these posts about the B’s I look over and see an ad for NESN Daily.  This has to be the worst sports tv show on.  I almost miss Sportsdesk with Cole Wright (E more »

These rumors just need to be put to BED!  You literally take one step forward by drafting Seguin and then a huge step back by trading Savard.  Savard shouldn't be trade bait because he has such a cap more »

I really think these Savard rumors are getting blown out of proportion. It's pretty stupid to trade your number one center who just signed a cap friendly contract to a division rival. Seguin will not more »

We all saw this coming and it's a good move. He proved that he can still get into the dirty areas and put the puck into the net, something the Bruins had a difficult time doing last season. more »

I'm sorry but this would be a mistake. His contract is very cap friendly and I do not see Bergeron or Krejci stepping up and taking over 1st line duties. I think this was a rumor that got tossed out t more »

This is one of the best days of my life. Horton is a stud and with a talented playmaker like Savard/Krejci, he should be able to net around 30 a year. I've always like his game and he's been a Bruin k more »

Tough pill to swallow last night. It's just hard to understand why there is not more traffic in front on Leighton. Why on the PP this team cannot realize that the Flyers are taking away shots from the more »

Wheeler and Sturm have been lacking this series. But Sobotka is so strong on the puck and so good in the corners it's fun to watch. I think players underestimate how good he is in the dirty areas. He' more »

Look at all the Buffalo fans talking tough. Doesn't matter who he hits. I didn't think there was a rule in the NHL that if you're 5'9 you can't get hit by a person who's bigger than you. Got to give i more »

If you're going to beat Miller you need traffic in front of the net. During the powerplay, a big body needs to be planted in front of the net. Of course he's going see the shots perfectly when there a more »

I have to agree with Sfan67, Recchi has been fantastic this year. Great leader, plays hard every shift and such a great presense in front of the net. Wideman had a great 08-09 season offensively but i more »

Great story Chris Muther. Fantastic job of showcasing a player's upscale bachelor pad when he's practically robbing the Bruins of 4 million dollars a year. His game against Toronto was just terrible. more »
