I think Gronk will be just fine and be the great player he always is when healthy. I expect a full recovery, based on how he looked when he came back from back surgery last year.

Grew up in Ohio, came to Massachusetts for college and law school. Lived away for 8 years and then came back to Cambridge. Now I live and work in the western 'burbs

Is it really true that Salk is gone?? Thank Goodness!! I could not stand him and thought he was a real misfit with Holley, who I like a lot. Are they putting Holley back with Dale Arnold? Doesn't m more »

I live in the Boston burbs. This has been a rough winter, but I saw a very special wintry thing yesterday: a bobcat in the snowfield behind my house. I loved that. I also lived in Miami for a year more »

Thanks guys. I really enjoyed the contest and hope we can do this again next season. I love that the Pats scored more points through the playoffs than Denver did -- no offense to Ayy Boston intended more »

Well folks, it's a wrap. What's the final tally? NYJoseph?

The Patriots have nothing to be ashamed of this season. Too many major injuries this year, and Talib's inability to play today didn't help any. Wait till next year!

Even though I was singing the blues about this team 6 weeks ago, they have turned the corner. I wouldn't be surprised if they won by 3 scores today myself. Just a feeling based on how they and the B more »

Maybe this is slightly off-topic, but I thought the game in Carolina looked somewhat flat all around. Newton had some good throws early on, but after a certain point he couldn't do anything -- they h more »

For us to see the Chiefs, the Chargers would have to win this weekend. Pretty unlikely, IMO.

I dunno about hoping for the Colts, at least not next week. They look pretty tough to me and have beaten the best teams in the league this year. But in the AFCCG, yes, most definitely.

We could face any of these 3, depending on what happens this weekend. Which team do we match up the best against? I think I like the Bengals best for us, even tho we lost to them early this season. more »

O.K. folks -- time to choose. I'll take Seattle, but it is a tough choice to make. I also want the 49ers and the hated Broncos. But I gotta go with the Seahawks.

I'll take the Steelers this week.

I have a question about how things will work in the playoffs, a number of Qs, actually. First, do the top 4 players get first round byes? There aren't 12 teams to go around during any round of the a more »

Yeah; I'm not saying the Pats will blow the Ravens out -- I don't know what to expect from our team anymore. But I don't think the Ravens are anything close to being the team to beat in the AFC. I p more »

I would be surprised. They STILL CAN'T SCORE. 6 field goals?? Pathetic. That's not going to cut it against Kansas City, who's been on a tear the last 2-3 weeks.
