Lloyd has been in the league 11 years and these are his thee best. I agree that he hasn't been a bust but his numbers are decent not outstanding. Besides the three years below, he only had one more (2 more »

Good article: Wes Welker can be signed to an affordable deal. Aqib Talib will be get an offer but now the Pats have room or transition tag instead of hoping a team like the Jets would offer two first- more »

Peter King of SI says it will save the Pats $27M and give the Pats $15M extra cap room. This can be huge because the Pats can now get the Free agents they need and keep Vollmer, Talib and possibly Wel more »

Take this as constructive criticism. Shut up and show up to the Mini cap. Use some common sense moron and show your value this year making $9M. If you want to continue complaining, ask to be traded. T more »

There are some good centers in next years draft including Barrett Jones of Alabama, Holmes of USC that the Pats can pick up. This years draft is very poor and even Konz of Wisconsin has health issues. more »

If you can get him for a very reasonable price sign him. He already knows the system and can help immediately. Draft a WR who is a burner in the 2nd or 3rd round who has the ability to learn the syste more »

To start, I am very surprised the Pats got to the Superbowl to begin with. What did we learn? The Pats are good enough to get one minute away from winning it with a patchwork defense. Pats need to get more »

BB you are a great coach but listen to mine and other Pats fans ideas on this forum: The defense is horrendous because you dont have talent. Remember this going into next years draft because you need more »

Remember it only a preseason game but OL was manhandled. The linebackers and DL were almost non existent but that didn't concern since Haynesworth, Ellis, Spikes...were not playing. The OL and seconda more »

Good breakdown of the Pats. Offensively, the Pats look solid and the DL, DE and CB have improved. The biggest concern is still the depth of the OLB and ILB. Mayo is solid if Spikes stays healthy can b more »

Glad the name Ron Brace was brought up. Why is he on the Active/PUP list AGAIN. Earth to Ron....start playing or you won't have a job. IF healthy, a DL including Wolfolk and Haynesworth could be one o more »

This is a bid surprise unless his injury prevented him from playing like he used to. Except for last year, Warren was a good steady player. Crumpler and especially Kazcur wasn't as much a surprise but more »

  • Forum Post: AJ hawk?

    Posted 03/02/2011 09:26:08 EST

This is simply a financial issue. Hawk makes $10M last year and if he stays with the Packers it has to be reduced. He is a good ILB but would be expensive and we don't want another Adalius Thomas type more »

Luck, Mallett, Newton and Locker should go in the first round. There is absolutely no question about Newton's talent and/or potential but he is a wild card and some teams fear he may be another Vince more »

    Posted 12/24/2010 01:04:17 EST

I want some feedback on this idea: Patriots trade the Oakland pick this year for:

    2013 2nd round pick
    2014 2nd round pick

Mankins took a gamble by not signing with the Patriots and he lost. If he was smarter he would have reported to camp and had the contract worked out while playing. Bottom line, a dumb move by both Man more »

Mankins had a 5-year 7 million per year contract on the table and he wouldn't take it. The contract puts him in the top five lineman in the league. If you can still get that offer, take it or Patriots more »

Take the $3.268 deal for 2010 and work on getting an extended contract. If you play your cards right, you can retire a Patriot and be one of the fan favorites. Have you ever thought you could retire i more »
