    Why on God's earth would Sox want David Wright?  Here is a much more simple idea:  Sign free agent Edwin Encarnacion (Toronto).  Put Youk in right or DH.

    Leyland was brilliant.  By pulling Scherzer and not using Verlander, all his starters are ready for a 7 game series vs. Texas.  He knew the Yankees had no pitching depth and gambled correctly.

    V.Mart was so NOT clutch besides there are better hitting DHs available.  Beltre was the man, but no room left on the corners to put him.  Sox was not lacking offense.  Losing Bucholtz and Dice K to i more »

    Unload all the over-priced dead wood free-agents - including finding a cheap DH (sorry Papi) and go get CC Sabathia.  That will leave Yankees scrambling to sign a sub-par alternative.  Beckett, Lester more »
